As September draws to a close, Jacksonville brings you fall festivals, markets and more, and here are some of them. You will get to know the artists themselves, hear their stories and get the chance to see stunning artworks. Whether you're looking for handmade sculptures, paintings, prints, sculptures or something in between, you can drop by Jacksonville Beach Art Gallery on Saturday, September 30, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. M. M., London. And you are invited to apply for a jury prize open to all artists and craftsmen.
The opening reception at Black Beach will include a short presentation of the artists, starting at 6: 30 p.m., and the exhibition will last until Wednesday, May 27, 2020. The event includes an autumn market, pumpkin carving, pumpkins and pumpkin-growing.

The Beaches Art Fest will take place on Saturday, October 14, from 12 noon to 5 pm at Jacksonville Beach Art Center.

The permanent collection of the museum includes almost 1,000 works of art from the 1960s to the present day and includes many multimedia works. Since then, it has grown to more than 5,500 works spanning the 21st century to 2100 BC, including works by artists such as Robert Rauschenberg, Winslow Homer, Paul Gauguin, and many others.
He recently graduated from Florida State College with Dustin Harewood and earned a degree in digital media. He teaches drawing, design, computer imaging and painting and has been teaching Plein Air Painting in Paris since 2004. In 2001 he spent the summer months at the National Museum of Modern Art in New York City and in 2004 he worked as an assistant professor in the Department of Art and Design, where he taught drawing and design. Gibbons earned his Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Arts from Ohio University in 1993 and a BA in Art History from the University of California, San Diego.
His work has been published in VSCO and Street Dreams Magazine and he has been named the 2018 Visual Artist of the Year by the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville. His clients include the Jacksonville Police Department, the Jacksonville Fire Department and the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. It has also been exhibited in New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, New Orleans, Miami, Washington, D.C. and New Jersey.
